ABSTRACT

Multiple autoimmune syndrome (MAS) is characterized by the association of at least three autoimmune disorders in the same patient. Originally, multiple autoimmune syndrome was grouped in three types according to the prevalence of their association. Vitiligo has often been identified as an important dermatological condition associated with multiple autoimmune syndrome. Five cases of vitiligo associated with rheumatoid arthritis and autoimmune hypothyroidism are informed.
