ABSTRACT

Gingival and periodontal diseases are listed among the most common human conditions, affecting the tissues that protect and support the teeth and once installed bring with them the deprivation of patients from their natural teeth at early ages, are the second cause of loss tooth. We perform this work to serve as a teaching support material for both undergraduate and postgraduate courses in Odontology in such a way that both at the primary health level and in the secondary level a correct diagnosis of the different morbid are installed in the periodontium.
