ABSTRACT

Foreign body injuries are common in pediatrics. In rare cases, a hair can act as a foreign body, a condition known as cutaneous pili migrans. We present a 1 year old boy with cutaneous pili migrans located in the left heel. The etiology of this condition is uncertain. The eruption is characterized by being dark linear and often serpiginous, with erythematous surface, so it is not uncommon to be confused with infestation by larva migrans.
