ABSTRACT

The term "sister Mary Joseph nodule" refers to the presence of an umbilical lesion, usually of long evolution, representing a cutaneous metastasis usually related to an intra-abdominal neoplasia. We report the case of a 71- year-old male patient, who presented with a small umbilical tumor that diagnosed an infiltrating adenocarcinoma with a primary adenocarcinoma of the colon.
