ABSTRACT

Lumbar puncture is an invasive procedure that is habitually carried out in all the scenarios of attention to patient. In occasions it is hindered because the landmarks for their realization are not identified in an appropriate way in some patients. Ultrasound-guided lumbar puncture is an easy, quick and safe procedure. It describes the technique to do it. In few patients ultrasound-guided lumbar puncture in real time is required.
