ABSTRACT

Aspects of the life and work of Dr. Ambrosio Grillo Portuondo are reported; as well as his work as health professional and combatant. Personal characteristics are also exalted, such as generosity in the treatment to the patients, disinterested devotion to the public service and contribution to the freedom of the country.
