ABSTRACT

lntroduction. Due to its prevolence ond incidence, the traumatic injuries in primory teeth (171) ore a public health problem thot causes physicol and psycholog ico 1 horm on eh ildren ond their coregivers. Of these injuries, tooth ovulsion represents 7 to 1 3%. There ore two criterio for their monogement: not lo make anytreatment or reimplantad, being which currently is becoming more relevant duelo the reported evidence of success. Objective. Preserve the PT lo maintain function, aesthetics and avoiding the psychological impoct. Case report. Mole patient, 3 years old, attends for avulsion of the P.T 6.1 and 6.2, without extending to the periorol tissues ond under conditions suítable for replontotíon, so me the treatment of pulpectomywos done in both PT, bosed on the protocol of the Federal Uníversity of Santa Calorina (FUSC), Brazil. N 8 months of follow-up the PT did not provide clinical or radiographic evidence of failure. Discussion. The recient clinica1 success reports and the fact of not find evidence of failures in literatu re, determi ned to decision to reimplant to PT 6.1 ond 6.2 bosed it on the FUSC protocol.
