ABSTRACT

Background: Intraligamentary diagnosis of ectopic pregnancy is difficult to establish and in most cases is an intraoperative finding.
Case Report: Patient with ultrasonography diagnosis of missed abortion 18 weeks. He was treated with prostaglandins for cervical ripening and sharp curettage. In the absence of a favorable response, vaginal bleeding and abdominal pain laparotomy, which showed right Intraligamentary pregnancy with stillbirths, 198 g was performed.
Conclusions: Ectopic pregnancy is a condition that can endanger the life of the mother, with potential negative effects on future fertility, so early diagnosis and care based on established protocols is indispensable.
