Metaplastic breast carcinoma producer of chondroid uterus

ABSTRACT

Metaplastic carcinoma breast is a type of malignancy very rare (‹ 1% of all breast cancer). It has invasiveness and high histological grade. It is characterized by associating a squamous epithelial component and a sarcomatoid component or with a variable phenotype (bone matrix, Chondroid or fusiform). We report the case of women 52 years old diagnosed with metaplastic carcinoma chondroid matrix producer with infiltrating ductal carcinoma treated with Modified Radical Mastectomy and adjuvant chemotherapy FEC 6 cycles plus radiotherapy with 50 Gy in 25Fx. Present recurrence sternum and retrosternal with chondroid tumor activity, so second was taken with Docetaxel, so far with good response and stable disease, is in surveillance and monitoring.
