ABSTRACT

It is necessary to recognize that before talking about the "art of being a doctor", the "art of teaching doctors" must be recognized and specified. The Escuela Médico Militar undoubtedly represents in its centennial a crucible where medicine is an art that is being transmitted from generation to generation. In it dreams have materialized, they have faced the challenges and have escalated the personal, social, economic and cultural differences of many. Only these hundred years of the Escuela Médico Militar are witnesses that the time has allowed to conform the characteristic prestige of the physician, MD, army physician and revives the commitment to maintain it and to increase it by Mexico and for Mexico.
