ABSTRACT

A female patient of 20 years of age diagnosed with familial multiple polyposis is presented from the 11 years, she is served in the service of Coloproctology at the General Teaching Hospital "Dr. Agostinho Neto" Guantanamo where diagnosis was confirmed by radiological and endoscopic studies. It was decided to perform surgical treatment: total colectomy with S ileal ileoproctostomy, surgical technique performed for the first time in this institution, having satisfactory result. Pathological studies confirm the diagnosis. As this rare disease in adults and the surgical technique used by doctors is presented the results of the case.
