ABSTRACT

The relationship between vertigo and metabolic syndrome and physiopathologic mechanisms has not been properly studied. Herein we analyze the epidemiology and the metabolic disorders related to vertigo. In patients with metabolic syndrome studying abnormalities in vestibular function should be considered.
