ABSTRACT

The pelvic floor is compose of different muscular elements, integrated under control by the nervous system. It´s dysfunction includes multiple clinical alterations as sphicther incontinence, prolapse of pelvic organs, perception alterations, chronic pain syndromes and sexual dysfunction. Conservative treatment includes life style changes, training of muscles of the pelvic floor, biofeedback and electric stimulation. Wich objtive is to improve or solve clinical issues related with it´s dysfunction, as continence, satisfactory sexuality.
