ABSTRACT

Adenomyoepithelioma is a rare breast tumor, with around 200 cases reported in the specialized literature; it is characterized by proliferation of epithelial and myoepithelial cells. Most of these tumors present benign behavior, and on rare occasions malignant degeneration, although they tend to recur locally. The purpose of this article is to present the case of a patient with this diagnosis, its image characteristics and pathological findings, and a discussion of the literature on this clinical entity.
