ABSTRACT

Using yodopropidium labelled with radionuclides, we carried out scan of 12 patients with pancreatic necrosis and compared with 12 health volunteers. The patients with pancreatic necrosis showed a “positive” image vs. the “negative” image of health volunteers. Nobody of the subjects studied had any reactions in six months of clinical and laboratorial “follow-up”. So, we propose, because of the encorageous results, the yodopropidium for the control and followup of pancreatic necrosis for this effectiveness, good results and harmless.
