ABSTRACT

Objective. To report the case of a patient with primary thyroid lymphoma. Design. Report of case. Setting. Third level health care hospital. Description of the case. It is on a 54 years old male with increase of volume of the neck for the last three years. At the beginning it was managed like a nodular goiter, later on the diagnosis was malignant neoplasia. Total thyroidectomy was practiced on with ganglionar dissection. Definitive report of pathology was diffuse lymphoma of small-cells with plasmocytoid differentiation.
