ABSTRACT

Cancer control requires more than low coverage, discontinuous or partial actions; it requires an integral strategy. Manicaragua municipality has implemented actions in order to control cancer. A descriptive research aimed at characterizing some aspects related to cases reported in the municipality in 2015 was performed. Markers of early diagnosis have been unfavorable even when a group of technologies have been implemented. At present, the strategies to reduce these markers are defined, which will facilitate to increase survival and to reduce mortality due to cancer.
