ABSTRACT

Regenerative medicine comprises the repair of tissues or damaged organs by means of cells produced from their progenitors. It becomes in a useful tool within the reach of several medical specialties due to its multidisciplinary and transdisciplinary character; its benefits reveal the quality of life in several eye diseases. Its application to cutaneous periocular rejuvenation has been recently studied through mesotherapy with autologous platelet-rich plasma.
