ABSTRACT

Jejunoileal atresia and stenosis are the most common causes of congenital anomalies of the small intestine and neonatal intestinal obstruction. Atresias represent the 95 % of the cases, while stenoses represent only the 5 %, with an equal proportion in both genders. A case of a 21-day-old newborn diagnosed with a jejunal stenosis is described.
