ABSTRACT

The angiomioma, is a solitary form of leiomioma that is presented usually in the subcutaneous cellular tissue, these lesions they consider 5% of the tumors of benign soft tissue approximately, frequently they are presented more in the women, they are presented preferably in the inferior extremities under the leg, the angiomiomas rarely deploys degenerative nuclear atypia, the treatment consists on the division. A report of case of a not very frequent tumor is presented in orthopedics to confirm the handling according to evolution of this entity, in feminine of 76 years of age with chronic pain in left foot 10 years old that hinders the march as well as of the use of the footwear. Their study is based on the tumor protocol in which laboratory studies, cabinet and histopatologyc study are included; which is carried out previous consistent surgical procedure in biopsy. The handling surgical reports favorable evolution, corroborating until the moment those modifications is not presented in the treatment of these patients according to the literature.
