ABSTRACT

The medical literature, national and foreign, is constantly growing, hence the need for internists to have a guide to the most known and most useful and current texts. It is due to this need that I allow myself to present a list of the basic books for internal medicine taking into account the agenda to support the examination of the Mexican Council of Internal Medicine, AC.
