ABSTRACT
Cuba has a recognized prestige within the field of "Ozone Therapy". Ozonized oil has been widely used with great results in oral diseases due to its antiinflammatory, analgesic, healing, bactericidal, virucidal, and fungicidal effect. 293 Oleozón is especially effective against the microorganisms of the dentobacteriana plate, the intimate contact of the microorganisms that conform the plate and the subgingival microbiota explain the present inflammatory reaction that compromises the epithelium of the gum, the underlying connective tissue and the epithelial adhesion; that is why its use as an alternative treatment for patients with chronic gingivitis, alveolitis, endodontic treatments, pulp tissue damage and radicular canals is an effective treatment, which can become a therapeutic choice in different oral diseases.
