Proposal of actions for the use of management technologies by graduates of the specialty of Organization and Administration in Health

ABSTRACT

Introduction: the use of management technologies is a tool in the transformations of the health sector.
Objective: To characterize the graduates of the specialty of Health Organization and Administration and to identify the barriers perceived by them for the use of management technologies and to elaborate a proposed action plan.
Method: Longitudinal descriptive study with the 16 specialists of Organization and Administration in Health in its first edition and five selected experts; variables were such as age, sex, spetialities carried out, experience of the graduate, experiences as manager, level of the system where he (she) exercises, and teaching category of the researcher, type of training, management technologies used, barriers to use management technologies. In the analysis, the relative and absolute frequency, the Ichikawa graph and the SWOT matrix were used.
Results: An action plan was built.
Conclusions: The need to perfect the selection process by prioritizing the primary level of the health system was evidenced. The barriers, their causes and sub-causes, as well as the weaknesses, strengths and opportunities were identified. An action plan was designed to modify the efficient use of managerial technologies in the context in which they operate.
