ABSTRACT
Objective: profile persons fifty years and older with HIV/AIDS so much those that were diagnosed with that age or more years like those that in the analyzed period 1986-2015, arrived to that populational group, belonging to the Municipality Square of the Revolution. Method: study descriptive traverse constituted by 119 patients that were 50 years old or more in the moment of the diagnosis of HIV/AIDS and 205 patients than during the analyzed period they entered in the group etario study object. Results: prevail the masculine sex and inside them the men that maintain sex with gold men and also the bachelors. Significant increment of the notifications of VIH/sida in the 50 year-old populational group or more.
