ABSTRACT

In Cuba the detection and report of the drug reactions adverse (DRA) it is priority of our system of pharmacovigilance. Elderly frequently need to use a high number of medications, and keeping in mind that they constitute a population that goes in increase, the topic of their rational use he/she becomes an investigation priority to achieve an appropriate drugs prescription in this group, given its importance in the health of the adults is carried out a revision of the related fundamental aspects.
