Cockroaches: Biology and importance in public health

ABSTRACT

The cockroaches belong to one of the groups of well-known and better older insects; the organisms pertaining to this group, have the characteristic to adapt to a great variety of habitat. They display a great variety of forms, sizes, colors and habitat in which subsist, few that represent importance in public health; in the present time there are around 45 pathogens known that can transmit of mechanical and natural way, mainly bacteria flora, different protozoan, pathogenic worms, fungus, and viruses. Showing them like a risk for public health in the human communities.
