ABSTRACT

The development of anesthetic techniques has allowed a greater number of surgical procedures, diagnostic and therapeutic in the thoracic cavity. Recently published findings that revolutionize the physiological foundations are based in the Trans ventilation operative in this type of surgery, besides the control of the airway, anesthetic drugs, required monitoring, time of ex intubation and postoperative analgesia. This review aims to update the theme which serves as supplementary material for continuing education.
