ABSTRACTThe aim of the present study was to know the relation between the learning styles (CHAEA) and the intelectual coefficient in student of secondary. The sample was constituted by 144 students by age between 14 and 19 years. There was in use the Questionnaire Honey-Alonso of Learning Styles (CHAEA- 36) and the test of Raven progressive matrices. The results show that there do not exist significant differences between four styles of learning, not between every style comparing males and ladies. Only they appreciate difference in the reflexive style on having compared the results for courses. Finally, relation is not observed between the styles of learning and the results of intellectual coefficient. More investigations are necessary with samples of major size, of other cities and to realize a longitudinal study to know the evolution of the styles of learning in the same subjects
