ABSTRACT

An exploratory study was carried out with the objective of gathering the Nursing intervention in patients suffering from Acute Edema of the Lung in the Integral Diagnostic Medical Center José Manuel Gozaine in the Urdaneta municipality of Lara state, Venezuela from May 2013 to June 2014 Cardiovascular diseases have become the leading causes of death and disability in the world. Variables such as: general measures, pharmacological treatment, and nursing intervention were used. The universe of study was constituted by 9 nurses who worked in the emergency services of this center. As a result more relevant was collected a set of nursing actions applied in these emergencies.
