ABSTRACT
A literature review on the ethics of scientific research and its inclusion in the health sciences was carried out, its emergence was addressed and the importance of the creation of the Research Ethics Committees was emphasized, the main ethical requirements present in all scientific research, the application of the ethics of research in different medical sciences, with emphasis on informed consent, the principle of beneficence and justice. Criteria were established between clinical practice and research according to the intention of the person performing the action and to what purpose it is directed. Research results are exposed on knowledge of research ethics, as well as its visualization from undergraduate and the need to incorporate in the curriculum the contents related to the research activity.
