ABSTRACT

We present the case of a patient under treatment for acute lymphoblastic leukemia, in whom bronchoalveolar lavage was performed due to fever, respiratory problems and neutropenia. The findings showed data compatible with pulmonary leukemic relapse, associated with infection by Pneumocystis jirovecii.
