ABSTRACT

This research is focused on the secondary victimization of sexually abused adolescents during the instruction phase of the legal-penal process. Reference area: Havana City; reference time: 2013. The topic is presented as a critical point for professionals whose work is the protection of girls, boys and adolescents. Taking into account their physical and psychological immaturity and their victim condition in traumatic experiences as sexual abuse, they can experiment vulnerabilities in different ways during the instruction phase of the legal-penal process.
Cuba’s engagements at international level in human rights for children and Cuban State’s definition for their protection advocate the need of analyzing spaces and behaviors that can affect boys, girls and adolescents.
