ABSTRACT

An aneurysm is defined as a segmental dilatation of an artery or vein. At aortic level is defined as the increase in aortic diameter greater than 50%. We report the case of a patient who was diagnosed with broken aneurysm aortic and underwent open surgical procedure. Abdominal ultrasound is the technique of choice for the diagnosis, monitoring and screening for abdominal aortic aneurysm.
