ABSTRACT

INTRODUCTION
In children mainly, the introduction of a foreign body into the nose is the result of curiosity and imprudent games. Mainly, because their parents leave to its reach countless objects which because of their size, can be introduced easily in such cavities.
CLINICAL CASE
The clinical case of a three years old feminine prestudent appears, who introduced a button battery into her nose, she was submitted general anesthesia and by rhinoscopy, extraction was performed. No complications on her outcome.
DISCUSSION
Being an uncommon foreign body, its extraction must not be delayed. We offer some indications of management for a successful outcome.
