ABSTRACT

The roots of the Cuban homeland are nurtured of the legacy contributed by the greatness of the men that you/they make it transcendent. Perucho Figueredo is distinguished when occupying for own right an exceptional space in the history of the homeland. A study of revision of 14 updates bibliographical sources was performed with the aim of characterizing the trajectory that identifies the figure of Perucho Figueredo like hymn badge and of free homeland and derived of it the contribution of their thought and behavior to the Cuban pattern of the professional of the medical sciences. The investigation helps to understand the essentials that distinguish to its social main contributions and that they make perceive its presence in each letter of the national hymn.
