ABSTRACT

Siamese twins are the most exterme way of brotherhood of monocigotic twins, they constitute a rare accident of development. The first diagnosed case in Cuba is presented with the variant cephalothoracoonphalopagus by prenatal ekography at 13 weeks of pregnancy. During genetin councelling the couple decided the voluntary ending of the pregnancy and the anatomopathologic analysis of the fetos confirmed the reported findings by ultrasonograhic images in 2d. The diagnostic test showed to be very effective and the early diagnosis favored the couple to take the decission in relation to the continuity of the pregnancy.
