ABSTRACT

Introduction: the rheumatic illness are chronic sufferings with economical, work, social impact and in life’s hope of those who have it in the world and Cuba. However, the observations of the acting’s modes of the Rehabilitation’s technicians and the need that demands of permanent and continuously education allowed the identification of insufficiencies of these humans’ resources in the rehabilitator integral handle of patients with rheumatic illness. Objective: to value the current state of the professional competencies of the Health’s technicians in Rehabilitation in front to the integral rehabilitator handle of the patients with rheumatic illness in La Habana. Methods of the theoretical level: theoretical investigation: historical logic, documental analyze, systematization, of the empirical through observations and polls and the mathematic-statistics that contributes to obtain the results of the diagnosis of the current state of the professional competencies of the Health’s technicians of Rehabilitation in front to the integral rehabilitator handle of the patients with rheumatic illness in the selected context. Results: the studied population suffers from an insufficient knowledge of the professional competencies in the integral attention of the rheumatic patient. Conclusions: the current state of the professional competencies in the integral attention of the rheumatic patient for the Health’s technicians in Rehabilitation was lacking.
