ABSTRACT

A traverse descriptive study was carried out with the purpose of determining the behavior of some risk factors of infantile asthma in the municipality Baracoa during the year 2017. The sample is deliberate of 60 asthmatic children 5-14 years old, the variables were age, sex, asthma antecedents, home environment and psychological family, as well as the existence of frequent breathing infections before two years of age. The risk factors such as masculine sex, asthma antecedents, alterations in the family operation, exhibition to the dust and to suffer frequent breathing infections before the 2 years influences in the appearance of the asthma in the investigated children.
