Follicular ovarian cyst in a case of precocious pseudopuberty

ABSTRACT

The case of a four year-old girl with precocious pseudopuberty (secondary signs of puberty Tanner II) is presented. The diagnosis of an isolated ovarian cyst was done. She was surgical intervened confirming the presence of an ovarian follicular cyst and it was extirpated. After that, gradually the signs of puberty were disappearing. It is discusse the way to discriminate among the patients with puberty precocious true isosexual and the outlying pseudopuberty.
