ABSTRACT

The principal aim of this report is to contribute the understanding of the physiologic mechanism of the “infantile colic”. For this purpose a review about the way of nociceptive stimulus give a painful response is done, associated factors to this syndrome are revised. Also the principal points that must be taken in account by pediatricians: for the clinical evaluation of these infants and its management and treatment, is given.
