ABSTRACT

It is the case report of a newborn with hydrops fetalis. The diagnosis was done by ultrasonography in the late stage of the pregnancy. His mother, with hypertension, had edema since the eight weeks of gestation. The baby was born for caesarean operation being confirmed the diagnosis of non immunologic fetal dropsy. Mention is done of the procedures of diagnostic, the medical handling and the neonate and the evolution.
