ABSTRACT

Under the auspice of the Comprehensive General Medicine Society Provincial Branche, the XI Provincial Scientific Day and II Territorial Journey of the Ministry of Interior Medical Services took place in Santiago de Cuba from May 23-26, 2018, with the objective of fomenting the exchange of experiences, the dialogue and scientific communication among the participants. In the events 117 delegates participated and 25 guests, among them authorities and personalities of science, administration and teaching representatives, doctors, residents, as well as professionals of several specialties. The topics analyzed were related with the penitentiary medicine and the health programs developed in the environment.
