ABSTRACT
Some theoretical considerations on the psychological treatment of people with HIV/AIDS are proposed, based on the criteria of several authors and the bibliographic review according to the methods of the theoretical level of the research: analysis-synthesis, inductiondeduction, modeling and approach systemic. In this way, professionals and students of the health sector can be guided on how to approach the psychological care process of these patients.
