ABSTRACT

Wegener´s disease or granulomatosis with polyangiitis is a rare disease, characterized for presenting a primary granulomatous systemic vasculitis, with affectation of the upper and lower airways and the kidneys. The authors expose clinical characteristics and the results of the complementary exams performed to a male patient, aged 24 years, with rhinitis, pulmonary hemorrhage, acute renal insufficiency, and anti-cytoplasmic antibodies of positive neutrophils.
