ABSTRACT

William Osler is remembered as one of the biggest and more estimated physicians of the history. The author describes main aspects of his life, work and philosophy. The aim of this article is highlighting his contribution he made to medical education with emphasis in the education at work, mainstays and essential part of the Cuban medical education system.
