Wünderlich Syndrome, Spontaneous renal hematoma.

ABSTRACT

The Wünderlich syndrome is a rare entity; there are only 300 cases in the literature; its clinical manifestations are usually intense abdominal pain in any of the flanks, the appearance of a palpable mass and the data of hypovolemic shock. The diagnosis is made by means of the image study and the computerized axial tomography of the highest value. The treatment can be specific according to each case and can range from partial to radical nephrectomy.
