ABSTRACT

Onychomycosis due to Fusarium sp. It is an uncommon opportunistic mycosis, being more susceptible to patients with immune system disease. We report the case of a 35-year-old male patient with a clinical and mycological diagnosis of onychomycosis due to Fusarium Sp. It was treated with itraconazole 400 mg / day for 3 months where clinical and mycological cure was achieved. A clinical case of uncommon appearance is presented and the most important clinical-mycological aspects of this entity are considered.
