ABSTRACT

Pigmented purpuric dermatoses are a group of dermatoses characterized by petechiae and purpura over a brown, red or yellow background. There are five clinical variants, of which the purpuric pigmented lichenoid dermatitis of Gougerot and Blum’s is one of the less frequent.
We present a 62-year-old female with clinical and pathological findings characteristic to this entity. It has a low frequency and most be differentiated of purpuric phenomena of diverse etiopathogenesis, and most important, the recent findings of a possible link with mycosis fungoides.
