ABSTRACT
Background: The aneurysmal bone cyst is an uncommon benign lesion that represents a small percentage of primary bone tumors. It has a higher incidence in long bones and spine, and it is usually diagnosed in young patients. Location in the cranial region accounts for around 2% of the total of aneurysmal bone cysts. It manifests clinically as lumps that vary in size in the majority of patients. Case report: A 13-year-old boy with a history of inflammatory changes, without pain, and proptosis, in left eye. A biopsy was performed and the histopathological study confirmed the diagnosis of aneurysmal bone cyst. The left front-naso-orbital location, gives an added value to the rarity of the case. The treatment was surgical, and we achieved a complete removal of the tumor. The patient had an excellent evolution and recovery after the surgery. This case is considered rare and infrequent, which little information exists in the literature.REFERENCES
