ABSTRACT

Introduction: The pulmonary tuberculosis it has turned to emerge as sanitary highest quality problem magnitude, so much in the countries in the process of development as in the developed.
Objective: Characterizing the diagnosed patients with pulmonary tuberculosis with positive bacillus and decide the incidence of the illness and your future tendency.
Method: Study of epidemiologic profile, observational and descriptive longitudinal of the patients diagnosed of white plague with baciloscopic positive with 15 years or more during the years 1990 to 2010, at the Provincia Granma's Municipality Manzanillo.
Results: 174 patients went includes: 166 cases new and 8 relapses. The group of age it predominated went between 25 and 44 years. Was the predominant the masculine sex.
